Okay. I'm writing a story which I think may be interesting but I'm not sure if I can get it out of my head and on to paper right. Please read my story and give any advice as I write it.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Josh was new to Camden Head High but had already made himself pretty popular with both guys and girls. He was a footy player and looked it because he was very stocky. Being an islander Josh was dark skinned and wore his unruly black hair in long dreds which he tied back in a ponytail.
Today he was concentrating on keeping a straight face.
The Tuesday assembly in the outdoor quadrangle was about to commence. The principal gazed importantly down at the students who were about to die of dehydration before beginning his important announcement...

Hey this is my first post, but I have to post in order to write in the chatbox which is really weird bcuz they must have made that rule up recently bcuz when i was on here that rule didnt apply. but okay. so today i got this magizine paper telling me if my story made it or not, and unfortunatly it did not. =( but i wont give up so later on..please remind me im going to post the story that i entered for the magazine. and ill hopefully post it soon. love you guys

"good morning everyone", he stopped and tapped the microphone which hadn't been working. "Good morning" he repeated but was interrupted by an outburst of laughter from his audience due to the fact that his usually deep resounding voice had come through the PA sounding like a chipmunks.

"Oi! Goth Girl!" he called "Wait up"
Everyone called Sora "Goth girl" even though she was short, blond, blue eyed and thin. She actually looked pretty normal even though it was obvious that she wasn't fussed about her appearence. It was because she didn't seem to have a personality that everyone called her "Goth".
She never seemed to feel anything, She NEVER participated in anything unless it was compulsory and had never had one friend.
Everyone was always trying to figure out one mystery... Why was a 16 year old girl living on her own? How did she manage? Where were her parents?
Sora was a mystery Josh was determined to solve no matter how much he had to push her buttons...If she had any.

"I usually don't associate with anyone." Sora replied in a monotone. "You're Josh right? The new guy?"
"Yep"

"Well, It changes how the sound comes out on the PA. Kind of an effects machine thingy"
"oh, so it was you who did that."
"Yep. How funny was it!"
"I didn't find it amusing"
"Huh?!" Josh was thunderstruck
'I'm not like anyone else. I never find anything funny."
"Oh come on Sora! You must find something funny! Show me a smile... i bet you have a nice smile."
"i can't" Sora turned and left for class leaving Josh even more confused.
