CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is a weekly letter I write to prisoner's in jail , a bible study
Greetings , peace , and joy be yours ...... I would that you would prosper , even as your soul ( mind, will , & emotions ) prosper . I would by the renewing of your mind and the submission of your will bridle your emotions . That when , not if , you are released , that you have developed the strength to submit your self to God and resist the temptations and trials that defeated you this time .
That in the quiet and despair , the furnace of affliction , that you reside within might build up a strength , fellowship , and reliance of your faith within you ( 1 Peter 1.7 ; James 1.3,4 ; James 1.1 ). That you have decided to listen more and speak less ; to forgive , rather than accuse ; to pursue rather , than flee ; to be longsuffering rather than vindictive ; to strive to succeed rather than accept any defeat ; & to counsel with God in all things , before stepping forth in anything.
Proverbs 24.16 says it's ok to fall flat on your face , just get up and go again , and again , till you get it right . Like Yoda on Star Wars .... don't try ( and quit ) try and do ( succeed ) . 2 Chronicles 7.14 says if we repent ( admit what , when , why , where , and how we failed ) and return to God , He will restore us : our home , position , place
Little Gabe went home to be with Jesus this week , lift up Miss Diane , his brother ,sister , and his parents that they will be comforted , strengthened ,
and find peace .
I believe little Gabe can stand before God and say as Paul said " I have finished my race , completed my course 2 Timothy 4.7 " . He spoke to the mountain before him and kept speaking , and when he was weary others spoke with him and for him . He left a legacy of faith , persistence , and example we all can follow .
Can we not in his memory ( as remember 9-11 ; the Alamo ; the Maine ) raise up once more our banner ( Isa 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him ) that has dipped in the heat of battle and go once more to fight the good fight of faith ( 1 Timothy 6.12 ).
If one of us , raises up the banner again ; If one of us picks up our cross , again ; If one of us decides to repent and return ; if one of us decides to forgive , then Gabe's life has meaning , his death a victory , his celebration in heaven assured .
Prayer request : for Peg Evans' family , Kieth Perry's brother in law , and a woman friend of Dan Triller who also are battling cancer & in need of prayer .

I wrote some thing along this line a couple of years ago & perhaps now is a good time to mention again . We as men , the Biblical head of the house , the high priest of our home ; the example for our wives and children ; we who will give account before God for their behavior .
A reminder to those who will be released soon , to make haste slowly . The Lady of the house , for 6 weeks , 6 months , 6 years has worn the pants in that house , and been the source of leadership and financial support of your children . She presently occupies the position of authority that you " abdicated " [ gave up ] when you were incarcerated .
With the name and blood of Jesus ( Rev. 12.11 ) and the resolve not to return to this facility , except to give testimony , to win souls , to pray as a minister of reconciliation ( James 5.18-19 ) . When you win the battle of " your mind " and permit Jesus to vanquish your demons , then will your children and grandchildren be delivered from the " familiar spirit " and " generational curse " that seeks to destroy your name , your seed , your family , your friends by destroying you ....
In order for you to be reinstated to that place of authority , a few things need to take place :
1. Find gainful employment , great or small , that you once again provide for your family
1 Tim 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel ).
2 Cor 12:14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
Eccl9.10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest
2. counsel with wife : what has taken place , what are our needs at present
Prov 18:22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favor of the LORD
Eccl 9:9 Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labor which thou takest under the sun.
(Col 3:18 KJV) Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
(Col 3:19 KJV) Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
3. rebuild the relationships with your children , listen , patiently , in love
Eph 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Eph 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
Eph 6:3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
Eph 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and
4. flee all " occasions of sin " : persons , places , or things that weaken your resolve to be who God desires you to be
1 Cor 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body
John 10:5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
Prov 29:1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
Bad company , corrupts good morals
5. find , attend , support , & submit to a local Pastor and Church
Mat 18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as a heathen man and a publican.

Look again at the spiritual armor of God , Paul speaks of in Ehpesians 6.10-17
1. Our enemy is not flesh and blood .... ( eliminates wife , kids , boss , friends .... )
2. But principalities , powers , spirits .... satan and his minions within your mind ...
3.Put on the Helmet of Salvation : protect your mind by censoring what your eyes and ears see and hear , lest you speak corruption and condemn yourself ...
4. Put on the breast plate of right thinking , acting , living that you may protect your heart
5. Put on the belt of truth - that lies might not proceed from your lips , the truth of Jesus
6. Put on the shoes of readiness - to forgive , to pray , to witness , to speak , to submit
7. Take up .... offense the shield of faith , the Word of God you have tested and used
8. Take up the sword of the spirit - the word activated , the word that divides truth and fiction , the word that reconciles , heals , forgives , binds , and frees others ...
It is the simplest concept you have ever heard and the hardest thing you will ever do ....
Daily : Lord , what can I do differently , better , or change within me
Lord , how can I mend fences , build bridges , and minister to others
Lord , apart from you and your Spirit , I am nothing , but with you I have purpose
Lord , I thank you for my daily blessings and trials that my faith might grow
Lord , here is my schedule today , I ask you to bless it
Lord , I am available , use me , in some way today , great or small
