  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Name one law of physics God can't violate.
I’d say all of them, given that we’ve never seen a case where your God has violated a law of physics. Can you present any sound evidence to prove beyond reasonable doubt that your God has ever violated a law of physics or that it even exists? I’m guessing you can’t because your God simply lacks factual reality.

Hehe your talking to a guy that has more sense of humour, then common sense at times :> If there is a joke, or ironic, or silly observation I can find it :>

Though I think in general the usual consesnsus is that god can't do something that would be contradictory, AKA he's all powerful, but can't make a square circle, of course these are concepts not actual things. Closre might be, can god give himself infinate strength, but create a rock with infinite weight that he can't pick up. heh.

Name one law of physics God can't violate.
All of them, I suppose - they're immutable by definition. If God could break them, they wouldn't be laws.

I'd mention the logical laws, but someone got there before me :p

Name one law of physics God can't violate.

Which God?

Or is this another 'challenge' where you can't ask question and we just have to assume whatever you want us to assume or you'll say we're tainting or confusing your thread?

If God created everything that would include the laws of physics which explain how all matter works.

Why would he want to violate them when he can work with what he created?

Matthew 12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;
4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
