Today, I was reading the news and it really saddens me to see all the things that we as human being are capable of doing to one another. I sometimes wonder how God feels to see so much atrocity in his creation. I was reading of the earthquake that destroyed Haiti. My prays go to them. I just find it strange how people are always trying all these theories as to why it happened. This guy at work was trying to argue with this other lady (who is deep in the lord) that its mother nature and thats all to it. She was trying to tell him this is the Lord warning us. I think there is a lot of ignorance out there in not knowing the truth. I simply stay shut, because what is the point of arguing with a fool. This man told me that homosexuality is okay and God created us all equal and the "men and women thing," is a man made rule. How can people be so blind to the truth? I get really angry because someone else said, this is happening because Haiti practices Vodoo - this lady got offended and starting saying , "well, African is the mother of Vodoo and God has not sent any eathquakes," I think she fell to realize that country is the worst of them all, there is a lot of famine there and that country never propers... I can go on and on. All i know that this is written and is coming to pass. Mother nature is doing the will of God, this is just makes me get closer to him. thanks!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

People are spiritually blind and deceived-the gospel of Jesus is foolishness to those who are perishing-1 Co 1:18. I believe its a natural but to say its God judgement is not responsible unless that person is an Ezekiel and there are very few like this. Wickedness is every where - all over the world-the world would be a big ball of fire if God was judging the world in general.

at all turns in history though we have studied in school people have felt this way-'the end of times are coming' revelations say before things end..things will become calm. a peace shall be the first sign things are going to change.
