My Opinion

you can see God through a person, by the way they act towards a nother person and the way they treat them. Ex. the parable of the good samartitan. he didnt care what it tookm as long as the man healed. i dont think you have to " see God" by going to church every sunday... you can see him by just not sinning , and well just treat everyone  like you  want to be treated.  thats just my opinion....

now i want to hear what you people have to say!

You can experiance God through all your senses, not just sight and hearing.

I think that when we are young christians its good to be at church cause we really need the word of God. As we mature, we are there because thats where we belong....not quite sure why u bring this up.....why do u bring this up?

So may I ask, how do you taste God?  What exactly must you do to smell God also?

true but just eating bread and just drinking wine... well i know Jesus said that this is my body eat it this is my blood drink it but i dont think thtas the only way to tase and smell God... sorry

Pretty sure "bread" and "wine" were used as metaphors for Jesus' body and not actually to be taken literally.  To believe every time you eat some bread you are devouring Jesus is just absurd, so is the same thought while drinking wine.

Some say they can smell wonderful fragrances in His presence..and I,m sure I have too.
God can talk to us/communicate a message to us through all 5 sences if we are open to Him.
He communicates this way because thats how we communicate/recieve information.


Taste
smell (various smell, some lovely, some horrid)
see (read His word, visions, dreams)
feel (cold, warm, chills etc)
hear ( flutter of wings, voice of God etc)

um, one very impressive "taste" i'll remember all my life was one sunday morning. I got out of the car and started for church when looking around i suddenly felt God's presence.
He was (is) everywhere, and i could see Him in the tree, the sky and the wind. I was completely surrounded by Him.. absolutely awesome feeling.
