• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I'm new to this forum, but I am so glad I found it.
I feel that God has been telling me to quit smoking and what better way to do it than some extra motivation from a New Year's Resolution.
First off.. here's my story.
I started smoking before the legal age, and I was smoking about 2 packs a day. I was always the person who said they'd never smoke, but I tried it once, then I tried it again, and again. So on and so forth. I got hooked. I knew it was going to eventually kill me, I just had that feeling. One of my buddies was using an electronic cigarette, so I figured I'd try one out. He told me that it was a great way to quit smoking, but do it gradually.. not all at once. It's much easier on you. He was using BLU ecigs.. I think. I tried them for a while, but I wasn't feeling it. Then I found Green Smoke. I don't use them too much today because I've started to cut smoking out of my life for good. You can adjust the nicotine levels and you have different flavors too. The best part? [other than quitting smoking] is that they are so cost-effective. Smoking traditional cigarettes was killing me physically and financially.
Now that I'm off of traditional cigarettes, my mood is much more positive, my body feels so much better, and I'm even saving more money. I really should be thanking my buddy for trying BLU ecigs, because I wouldn't have known about electronic cigarettes and I wouldn't have found Green Smoke..

Alright, enough about me. I want you to find out for yourself.. check it out here, the-best-electric-cigarette.com

I want to be there to support anyone who wants to quit smoking as bad as I did.
