  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am asking just for anyone to offer a prayer for my mom...
As long as I can remember she has always been here for me and my 2 sisters. My parents got devorced when i was three i am now 14.. i was the captain of my football team this year and student concil president.. i could not have gotten here with out my mom. She has raised me and my sisters all by herself being a single mom. She could never do anything for herself she has always been doing everythign for us. We have been blessed and my step father is also very great but I am asking prayers for my mom because she might have cancer back .. and its over her left ovary and I would never want anything to happen to her because she has always been their for me and i want to be here for her so please pray the cancer gone please. thank you

Dear Lord, we lift Debra and Alex into your loving arms. Look deep into this boy's heart, please Jesus. He prays first in thanksgiving for the many blessings you have bestowed upon him and his family. And then he offers his mother to you with tender love and the exemplary faith of a child. Hear his prayer, Sweet Jesus, we beg you, and heal his mom. Comfort Alex and his sisters in their time of need, we pray. Amen.

I am going to pray for you and your mother in adoration. Please keep your faith strong and know that all things are possible with God. Be there for your mother as much as possible and pray with her. There is nothing more powerful then the prayer of the faithful . If you will PM me her full name I will add her to the prayer list at my church. I pray that God sends his angels to be near you and comfort you in this tough time. Know that God is with you always and he hears your prayers. Sometimes life throws things our way that we do not understand, just remember that God understands and His will is a mystery to us. Keep hold of Him and let Him guide you through. :prayer:
