She said she wasn't ready when you were...and she was honest...there was enough time for you to pick your ex and marry her in that time frame before she was ready to consider marriage again. We don't know if she would or wouldn't have picked you at this later date because you were no longer a possibility.

It is a waste of time to try to figure out why someone didn't choose you ... it usually gets down to a simple totally unexplainable gut feeling.

Go for the Aussie's then . Seriously though I think you have to get rid of that chip on your shoulder before moving forward in any relationship. I don't say that to be mean, but you are always saying how black women hurt you so deeply. I know they did, I get that, but, and this is just a friendly suggestion, maybe that is holding you back from some white women as well? I mean it really doesn't matter about skin color when we are talking about baggage. By that I mean that you need to be able to let go of the past in order to move forward (easier said than done, I know). I'm just sayin that you might inadvertantly be giving off some "vibe" about being hurt in the past that makes any woman want you and maybe you aren't even aware you're doing it.
Personally I think you might just be trying too hard in some respects and not too hard in other respects (like waiting to call) and that is JMO so please take it with a grain of salt and don't be mad at me. I think you probably are a great guy and I only said probably, cuz I have never met you in person.

I do not think that I am haunted by my past. I have forgiven those girls and women a long time ago. My memory is so keen.That is why I can share my past.
When I did Dr. Jekyl and Mr.Hyde,I played Dr. Jekyl's attorney. I memorized 2,000 words,word for word in only 6 weeks! I am blessed with a good memory. The flip side is that I can remember the bad stuff,also.

Now,I heard the "Hawkeye" character on M*A*S*H, and people in real life tell me that they drink to
forget. I have NEVER taken a drink of alcohol. My brain cells have not been destroyed by ETOH (grain alcohol.)
This reminds me of a song. I think it was a Country-Western song.It was about a man,who drinks,who had a friend,that never drinks,but went crazy because of his problems. The man who drinks,in order to forget his problems, sings:
" I rather have a BOTTLE in FRONT of me,that rather have to have a FRONTAL LOBOTOMY!"

Maybe you are right. As a child, I was very curious. I guess curiosity is in my DNA. That is ONE reason why I became a scientist. As I child,I always wondered why the sky is blue.I learned that the sky is blue because of the oxygen content in our atmosphere. I wondered why grass is green and why our blood is red. I learned that grass is green because of chlorophyll.Blood is red, because of hemoglobin,a mixture of protein and iron.When iron is exposed to oxygen,rust forms,giving off a red color.
So you see,there ARE reasons why things in our world are they way they are.

However,when it comes to human beings,I realized that not ALL things have an explanation.

SOMETIMES, I think or feel,that after sin entered the world,these differences that GOD put into men and women were meant for us to emotionally torment each other here on earth,as a punishment. Do you agree?

As to your second question, it was God that confused the languages etc in the beginning. I do not believe it was for us to torment each other, I believe it was done so that we would have to put effort into understanding something other than ourselves.

No, I believe the differences were part of our original design and they were put there to complete us. You long to find another because you don't feel complete being alone.

I think that sin is why we have such a hard time. As a whole, we are selfish by nature. We tend to focus on what someone else has or will offer US instead of what we can offer them. This is just human nature. And before you argue, the minute you start to discuss whether or not you are "attracted to someone", you have done just what I said. Marriages tend to be longer lasting and more solid in societies that practice arranged marriages where falling in love is what happened AFTER you were married and was not as important as learning to work as a team.
