I was just talking with my hubby - and we figured out something interesting... apparently Widmore never goes to the island b/c Michael Abbadon goes to Hurley after he gets off the island - so he apparently wants more information about the island.

1 - The oceanic 6 get off the island
2 - Micheal Abbandon goes to see Hurley at the institution - and he was basically asking about the island and those on the island.


We already know that Abbandon sent Naomi, etc to the island to see if there were any survivors of 815. Widmore wants to get there for some reason (per Ben to exploit the island healing properties). It seems like they were never able to find out the coordinates to get to the island themselves.

Am I making any more sense?

I think I see what you're saying.

So what we're seeing on the island now, with Charlotte and Daniel and Miles on the island, the information they came to get never makes it to Widmore. Which is why, after the O6 get off the island, Abbadon is still harassing Hurley for information. That makes sense. I wonder what happens, then, for Widmore's plan to be thwarted?

Not for sure, no. I'm having a brain fart here but I thought I'd seen a screen shot of something after Hurley's episode that seemed to indicate Abbadon was Dharma. Anyone know what I might be talking about?

That's true - we don't know for sure who Abbadon is working for.

Based on the "Lost Experience' stuff, I'd say that Widmore doesn't make it to the island. I suspect he didn't intend to go to the island himself, rather he wanted something that could only be found or made on the island - quite possibly something Ben told him about.

Abbadon *might* be working for Mittlewerk - the scary dude in the 'Lost Experience'.
