Back in October we were told, well, alot of things that may or may not have been true, but none the less we were told them, and by our pediatrician. I had noticed my 1 year old's right eye was "drifting" and not working with the other eye. I took him to the dr and she told us that he had an astigmatism, "wandering" eye (don't know the technical term at this immediate time) and could very well go blind. We set him up for an appointment to see a pediatrician eye specialist and prayed. He saw the eye dr and she confirmed what the other dr said but, told us that he shouldn't go blind from this as we caught it early, but did a test and told us that he is nearsighted in his right eye and has an astigmatism, then went about telling us the protocol. Patching the "strong" eye for 3-5 hours a day for 2 months and then follow up appt then see what other patching, possible surgery, probable glasses to correct the nearsighted-ness. Well, after we came home I had him put on a couple prayer lines and we PRAYED hard that God would heal our little boys eyes the past 2 months.
This Monday we went for the follow up appt. The eye dr's assistant tried to "stress" his eyes to get them to deviate. She couldn't do it. The eye dr herself came in and tried, no-go! She told me that the deviation in his eye was gone. His eyes are perfectly straight now! AMEN AND AMEN!
We still have to patch one eye one day and then the other the next day for 1 hour to "keep them straight" But, what wonderful news! She looked kinda baffled, but I told her that alot of people have been praying for him, and that it is an answered prayer that already it's corrected. She just said that "prayer is nice" Oh yea it is!
