My little boy and the remote control dump-truck

Older Son got a remote control dump-truck for Christmas (he had an early celebration with his other mom's family). Well, since he and Oldest Daughter are visiting their cousins for a sleepover, Middle Son (who is almost 2) has been playing with the toy.

He likes that the truck makes motor noises and beeps its horn, but that's all he wants it to do. If you push the lever to make the truck go, Middle Son runs after it screaming, "NO!" I even tried having him sit in my lap and showing him how to make the truck go so he'd see that he's controlling it, but he jumped out of my chair to chase down the runaway toy.

Poor sweet child. He really thinks it's going to run off on its own!

That is so cute. My son who is almost 25mths, loves cars and trucks too. He has never had a remote control car, but I wonder how he would react to it.

My 4 yo son loves cars too. He has a couple RCs but the best one is the one which has a cord attached to the controller. It's nice, that way it doesn't get too far from him and he can just pull it back.

My 4 yr. old, would just pull the whole thing apart-LOL. But my 15 month old hates anything like that. He always thinks things are out to get him. He will have fun, until it moves, then he will run to me screaming. It is so cute the funny way there minds work-eh!

He keeps yelling at the thing. He even told it "No, naughty!" one time.
