My last few days in here.

I rarely post in here, but my time in here is running out as I turn 20 in 9 days. It's honestly crazy thing how time has gone by, but also carries a bitter taste in my mouth since I'm essentially closing out the stage of being a teen and everything associated with it.

I rarely post in here, but my time in here is running out as I turn 20 in 9 days. It's honestly crazy thing how time has gone by, but also carries a bitter taste in my mouth since I'm essentially closing out the stage of being a teen and everything associated with it.

I hope you can relish your last couple of days of being a teenager!!!!! I empathize with how you feel about time passing through the hourglass at what feels like an alarmingly rapid pace. You are hopefully excited about all your 20s will offer you, but understandably bittersweet about this phase of your life ending. Plus at 20 you're sort of in this limbo where you're not a teen and yet you're not considered a fully fledged adult for another year.

I'm elated about starting college and all the opportunity that lies ahead, yet also wanting to find some pause button every day to savor high school a bit longer. Everything will change and never be the same again. I can't believe I graduate in June. I can't believe it's already MARCH! I cried like a total freakbasket in my car after school this afternoon because it was such an awesome day, and I realized I was rapidly running out of them. I want to be the female Peter Pan for a while and delay growing up a bit longer. I'm in love with the now.

Haha thanks Artemis. Yeah it's crazy turning 20, but it opens up a door I'm possibly considering: Law Enforcement. I'm not sure where God is calling me just yet, but I might have an idea. I just need to work on laying my stuff aside for Him.
