  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

please pray for my cat... I am SO attached to her and she was sick last week but then seemed to get better. Now I find blood in the kitty litter box. I have 2 cats but I just bet it's the one who was sick.

She's 14... never been sick before, since I got her 7 yrs. ago. I will be    if she dies!

OK, GG; how is that kitty?? Was it a Urinary Tract Infection? I thought 14 was pretty old for a kitty, too, until I met a cat that was like 22, and then one that was 24, in the same week! Sheesh. I'm not sure I would want to make my kittys live that long, if they get SOOOO tired and sickly....

My grandpas cat was in great health until about the time he became 21 years old. By his 22nd year he wasnt doing real well, and just before his 23rd year we had him put down - not because his *body* was failing, but because he had developed skin cancer that was pretty serious.

THANKS guys!! :pink: It is so nice to know anybody cares!

The kitty went to the vet, who is very wonderful but was stumped. The blood only showed up 2 times, both in the morning and then after that was normal. It seems to be blood from the lower intestinal tract, not the stomach or anything, which is good.

The best guess is that she may have eaten some of the plants I brought in from the cold, and just irritated her bowels. So I am instructed to keep eyes on her and if it happens again, $200 of bloodwork and possibly an xray... as this kind of thing can also indicate early cancer. :( But she's been fine since Monday.

My friend's kitty lived to 21 so I hope mine does too!
