The 'writhing serpent' cast up the mountains, creating destruction. Mountains are caused by the destruction of the creation. So indeed the rainbow serpent is a 'creator'. The creation of the mountains was caused by the rebellion of Lucifer. It wasn't a creative process but a destructive one, unless you consider making a big mess 'creative'. Ask any geologist. Mountains are destruction on a grand scale.

I'm viewing this subject from a Christian perspective, not an atheist one. Wrong? Hardly. The 'gods' of the heathen are false gods. Lucifer wanted to receive the worship that the true God received, and has accomplished that wish by deceiving people, including the aborigines, into believing that he (it) is the true god, thus the myth as beneficent creator.

Some people appear to know that their beliefs are a house of cards. They can't afford to admit one error due to a fear that their whole house, or belief, will collapse. It is also why they can't afford to learn. PRATT's exist because of people's fears not because of their lack of intelligence.Just can't admit when you're wrong, can you?

No, I did not have that sort of false belief. My belief was always somewhat rational and not irrational. Rational beliefs often change as one learns more. Irrational beliefs keep people form learning.
