I have 2 prayer requests (besides a general request for general health and safety for me and all of my family.)
1. Please pray for my husband.
He has really bad asthma-- he needs medications, steroids, an emergency inhaler, and an epi-pen, and still his asthma is uncontrolled.
He is currently deployed in Afghanistan. The doctors said he never should have deployed because his asthma is so bad... They were thinking of sending him back early to start the process of a medical discharge, but nothing is definite.
I haven't heard from him in almost 3 weeks (and I know that isn't a long time, last deployment [he didn't develop his asthma until near the end of that deployment] I only heard from him once a month). I'm really worried about him.
Please pray that he is okay, that he is able to contact me soon, that he gets sent home alive, that they continue with the medical discharge, that his health improves, and that it all works out so that we can live together as a family again.
2. Please pray that our finances improve and that they do not get worse.
Pray that I either get my SSI payments again or that I am able to work and obtain my first job ever making the same amount I was getting for disability payments plus enough to pay for daycare for my 2 toddler children while I work.
Pray that my husband will be able to find a job when he gets out of the Army.
Pray that we can both go to school and be successful and always be able to pay all of our bills on time, afford healthy food, afford needed household items, afford gas to get to/from work/school, and perhaps have enough to start saving for the future and/or an emergency.
