im gonna have to disagree whole heartedly with those people u were talking to, its an amazing youth worship song, just get a good beat, a funky guitar rhythm, and some quality bass and its one rockin' worship tune. apologies if u dont want it to rock but my worship band in my church is of that particular youthful persuasion, no harm meant!

It is a very good one. It is played at all youth events I go to, plus at camp this last week we "politely" asked that it be played at every chapel service. It was played about 5 times the last night and we still wanted more.

Would you guys consider doing this as a youth worship song? I wanted to but some other people objected because they didn't think that it was a good one to do during youth worship

Yeah, it's awesome. The only thing that any would could possibly object to as using it for youth worship would be the tempo that you play it at. But I've heard it played in a lot of stellar ways, and definitely heard at played many youth group functions before, as well.

Does anyone know how Stu G plays the lead on electric? I've got all the chords down but the lead that I play has the right notes but not the right tone.

If you play the right notes, you should have the right tone... though actually, there are *two* tones. In the recorded version, Stu uses a slide, but the one time live that I've seen him, he didn't.

Perhaps you don't have the right notes though? This is a highly accurate tab(plain ol' text format):

I think you're right guys. I will do it and i'm determined that i'm gonna give it all i've got because my passion is to see the young people give their all in worship and to reach out and be touched by God individually!

I love this song. We sing it pretty often at youth group. I would definately reccomend that you use it.

Hmmmm i might not bother with it. I really want to do it but i have to run it by my youth Pastor first with it not being your usual worship song. Problem is my youth Pastor is being a bit funny with me at the moment so i know he will say no! Then again i might just go ahead and do it anyway!

I was wondering, what key do you do it in? The chords we use in the first verse are D#m B G#m... just wondering if we're all doin it the same or if its diff, i dunno. But yeah we play that song all the time in praise n worship. We normally do it as a transition from praise to worship, cuz we start it out loud n fast, then after we've done the 1st n 2nd verse, we go back n do the 1st verse soft again, and we transition to worship from there. :D we were gonna do it for nationals but now we've changed our song. It's still a great song tho!
