Well US Customs approved my library for shipment from Scotland to the USA(Where I now live) I can hardly contain myself that soon I will be reunited with Jonh Calvin,John Owen and a myriad of puritan paperbacks as well as all my lovely banner of truth commentaries. One of my basement rooms is about to be turned into a study pending my drywalling skills or lack thereof LOL.
Oh I can't wait till the truck arrives with my 22 boxes of sheer delight on paper

yes Banner Of Truth do make some excellent books ..... I hope they all arrive safely , imagine what it was like for A W Pink , he moved to to US and Australia often to different places then Scotland , his books must have been around the world sevearl times

I'm sure you don't have to worry about anyone stealing any of that! One time, our house was broken into while we were at work and when we got home we ran to the bookcase! Everything was there!

CC&E - never seems to have enough bookcases, as soon as we get another one, we fill it.

Oh my, Just cant imagine how exciting it will be to be reunited with the books after a while!
I have to think though that it might challenge my life savings to send my books so far!

So true, CC&E, we always need one more bookcase! I now have a room that has only my computer and bookcases in it! Wonderful space!

I know how that feels, but in a lesser extent. I'm just excited when somebody returns a book to me after keeping it for a year. I can't imagine my sheer delight if I were reunited with 22 BOXES of books! AH! What a wonderful thought!

Ah yes Erin, I do agree with that. Someone just returned Richard Sibbes The Bruised Reed to me after a very long while and I was so thrilled to get him home! I'm not sure of the answer to this problem as even if my name is in the book, if it is placed into their bookcase it isnt seen or thought of for a very long while, and maybe never! I'm not selfish but I do really hate to loan a most favored and heavily underlined book out as I'v lost some books that I really love! I pray God uses that book and the thoughts find their way into a heart being changed by Him!

Now, I've got this mental image of "Calvin's Institutes" on a terrorist watch list (right next to Cat Steven's "Peace Train") How perplexing.
