CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Cassie (from Sunshine) is my favorite science fiction character. She is my favorite because she is sweet, brave, selfless, smart and quite beautiful. She is also a tragic heroine who died alone saving the world. Cassie was played by the very talented and beautiful Rose Byrne.

My favorites are as follows: Kahn from Star Trek and Darth Vader. I've always kind of been drawn to the rebellious and darker side of man, and want to know what makes Vader and Khan tick. Plus I am a fan of Ricardo Montalban

There was Sinclair, Sheridan, and I think Lochsley in the fifth season. That sounds more like Sheridan's personality though.

My favorite character is Alphonse Elric. He fights so hard to get his original body back but not at the expense of others or souls. A truly righteous character.

2. Jane - from Firefly, such a constant inner struggle, so interesting to watch (hard to pick though, because all the Firefly characters are so complex and different)
