I agree with that entirely. Roberts Liardon testiifies that at the age of 12 he was sitting at home watching TV when Jesus walked in through the front door, sat down beside him and told him that He had called him to be a preacher for Him. After saying that, Jesus walked back out the front door. Liardon started preaching from that day on, and he was one of the youngest powerful preachers. It was amazing how that pastors opened their pulpits to such a young guy, but if Jesus gave him that call, I am not surprised.

So it happens!

I'm sorry

I know

Sometimes I'm an offense even to myself

I talk too much

Forgive me

When the Lord, by His Spirit revealed Himself to me in the middle of a park, and lit me up like a Christmas tree, I started talking non stop to Him, asking all the questions I could think of. Then I asked Him if He wanted me to stop talking to allow Him to speak back to me. He told me that He could answer my questions while I was still talking. I found that as I kept talking to Him, new ideas would come to mind and I found myself answering my questions through my own mouth! He then said, "You see? I can answer your questions, no problem!" So when I pray, I don't stop talking either in English or in tongues, and I find that He answers me through my own thoughts. He usually points me to Scriptures that I might have read sometime but had no previous meaning for me. It seems that the particular verse that comes to me is totally appropriate to the discussion that I am having with Him. It seems that He confirms my comments to Him through a matching scripture. I find that exciting!

By the way

I never read the Bible until AFTER HE revealed HIMSELF to me

Same with me. Incidentally, I was converted in a Pentecostal church two years before. Isn't that interesting? I went two years in that church and I didn't understand a lot of what the Bible was teaching. When I got out in the middle of that park and introduced myself to God, His response was that He was waiting for me to get free of the religious stuff and to come directly to Him. So, the religious stuff in a church that even advertises itself as being at the cutting edge of what God is doing, can hinder a true understanding of the Bible until one can get away from it and reach out to Christ directly. I am glad that He revealed Himself to me outside of any church, because I no longer care which church is "true" as long as it glorifies Christ and seeks to win souls for Him (and not just to grow that church).

Do not forsake the coming together

We need to be strengthened and we, who profess to be so strong, need to strengthen those who are weak, who are struggling, who doubt

Especially as the time approaches and many fall away from sound doctrine which agrees with the GOSPEL of GOD

I don't know what you experienced, but I don't know anything that would support what you experienced was based on Biblical truth.

God used Satan to get Job's attention and that's what he uses to get that attention of all his chosen believers and servants.

You're of your father, Satan. He loves the Bible with a passion and hates anyone who speaks for God via the Holy Spirit.

If a person claims to speak for the Holy Spirit and it contradicts scripture, that makes that person a false teacher. If a person claims to speak new revelation not found in scripture, that person is a false teacher. The Bible is clear on this.

Unlike everyone else who has expressed "opinions" in this thread.. I actually am an authority in this area, as I have been pronounced clinically "dead" three times in my lifetime by medical experts.

First of all, the "resurrection of the dead" is a fundamental precept of Christianity. There are many incidents of resurrection from the dead of people mentioned variously throughout the NT.. and I'm not referring to the "Final Resurrection" either. According to one account "thousands" rose from the grave after Christ rose from the grave and went into Jerusalem and testified the Lord had risen, (Matthew 27:52-53). So resurrection denial represents a direct rejection of the Gospel.

In the first instance, at around age twelve I suffered a ruptured appendix. According to the surgeon, I had to be bought back to life a couple of times when I "flat-lined" during the four hour long operation.

During one of those moments, I "popped out" of my body. What people refer to as an OBE (Out of Body Experience). That's what you experienced "lostgirl 101".

I prefer OBE to that of an NDE (Near Death Experience), because that particular terminology suggests clinical death doesn't constitute actual death unless it goes beyond a certain period of time (say six minutes), although people submerged in icy cold water, who have had no heart beat for over 20 minutes have been successfully brought back. So nobody is certain what length of time actually constitutes permanent death.

Anyway, during my first OBE, I floated out of the operating room to a waiting room where my parents were being updated on my status. The doctor said they had removed a great deal of my intestine due to the spread of poison from my appendix and I only had a 20% chance of surviving the operation.. in fact he told them they had lost me twice already.

My parents requested clergy to pray over me once I made it to "Post Operative" ICU. As it was 3:00 AM in the morning, they were informed the only available clergy in the hospital was a Catholic priest, and we were Baptists, so it was pretty odd when they agreed. I then floated back to the surgery room.

There a figure in a white robe was waiting for me, and he said "You must go back Stephen". No explanation, no emotion. Up till then I wasn't upset, because I felt like I had returned to a place I had existed in far longer than the mere 12 years I was living on earth. I said, "That's going to hurt a lot" ! and he looked at me with a stony detachment waiting for my compliance, about which there didn't appear to be any question.

Later when I awoke in ICU there was a Catholic priest standing next to my bed. I groggily acknowledged the approval my parents had given, told him about my death in surgery, the 1-5 survival prognosis, and that I had been sent back by an angel of God.. The priest just stood there with his mouth hanging wide open in shock, unbelieving what he was hearing for a few seconds.

So yes. Having experienced exactly the same thing, I naturally believe every word of your story "lostgirl 101".

The second OBE occurred many years later, I guess I was around 30 years old. I touched a shorted electric stove and was electrocuted. Popped out again. Floated out to the end of the driveway where Howard and Bill were waiting on the EMT's.

Bill asked Howard, "Should we carry him out here" ? To which Howard replied, "No. He's too fat" ! When I returned to my body the same angel was waiting for me again. I said, "I know. I know".. "I'm going back, right ?" !

Later in the hospital, I related to the EMT's how I had to be hit twice with the paddles. The first time I didn't feel anything, the second time I definitely felt it after I "popped" back into my body. I even commented to the EMT how he had to crank the paddle machine all the way up on the second try.

I asked If Howard and Bill were there. The doctor said "Yes your friends are in the waiting room". I told the doctor to go tell Howard he's "way fatter than I am" !

The third time happened a couple of years ago in 2014, and it was then the angel finally showed me why I had to go back.

Stay patient, all of your questions are going to be answered at a time of God's choosing.

Thank you for standing sp strongly against that false witness

Not that I need to thank you but sometimes we don't say anything

And you did!

Thank you miknik5! I hope the Lord lead me and not my own passions, but I post on another Christian forum sometimes which has more sections open to non-Christians. I have seen what someone can do to younger Christians to confuse them with the doctrine of reincarnation... even though the person spreading the false doctrine claimed to be a Christian and offered examples of what he insisted were Biblical verses to support that... which I will not get into.

We are to fight truly false anti-Christian doctrine.

Again, thank you for your kind words of encouragement.

I am not familiar with Roberts Lairdon, but I cannot help but be skeptical (hopefully with a healthy skepticism) every time I hear stories like this... along with faith healers, etc.
Perhaps this actually happened. I believe Christ does appear to people... I certainly believe in the supernatural reality that surrounds us and God's power to do most anything. But I have also seen gullible people huckstered by "Christian" ministers and "faith healers".

Remember Marjoe Gortner? He was one of the youngest preachers ever! He is grown now and long apostate:

These two "angels" were contradictory

They would be
As Satan's kingdom is divided There is no semblance of unity in his kingdom and those in his kingdom are divided against themselves

Doesn't the bible say the kingdom of satan is not divided?

Could very well have been Christ.
Sorry
Doesn't the bible say the kingdom of satan is not divided?
No it doesn't.

Please go back and review in context what the Pharisees were saying about CHRIST

CHRIST basically told them that if the strong man comes than the strong man comes

When the string man comes the "house" is clean

The Pharisees were saying that he was a demon and that HE was casting out demons by a demon

They wanted to acknowledge a spiritual realm and that demons assaulted people and yet when CHRIST comes and clearly casts out the demon. They want to say that he also has a demon?

GOD's kingdom isn't divided
But satan shows no loyalty to his subjects and his purpose is to deceive

CHRUST said if HE casts out demons by beelzebub, who do the sons (if GOD's KINGDOM) cast them out by

This is random, but did all of the fallen angels fall because of pride?

Because one knew THE PLAN from the beginning and didn't like THE PLAN

Satan was a covering angel. He was supposed to cover until the ONE to come would come

Satan didn't like the plan and he didn't cover

Instead he lied and deceived and was in direct opposition of GOD's PLAN
