Hello all again,
This is a sort of dream / revelation of heaven and Jesus.
As I lay on my bed, my mind drifted. My mind went to imagination mode, and I began to drift up through the sky to ward heaven. Further and further I went, until I could see a bright glow in the distance. Soon I could hear the sound of music, songs that I had heard in church, but sung with perfect harmony and beauty, and with the most exquisite tones.
The city, heaven as I knew of it was in sight. Gold and pure brightness filled its every corner, there was no darkness. I came to the high walls and near to a large door way with angels coming in and out.
There were many people there, dressed in pure white robes, crowds of them and I recognised ones like Moses and Abraham even though I had not seen them before.
It was now that I felt so ashamed and little. Here were these great men of faith, that had done great things, and here was I a feeble and struggling Christian, I felt so imperfect. I hung my head low as I passed by these pillars of faith, men and woman of God.
My heart was sad and my eyes tearful, and yet I felt the love of God growing in my heart all the while.
I walked slowly along the great hallway, angels walking up and down, who didnt seem to notice or be concerned at me being there.
Then I saw the brightness of a throne, and I knew it was of Jesus. I heard a voice that said come over John, I love you, Lord I said, I cannot come over I couldnt even hold my head up in front of those godly men and woman.
Come over He said, His love filled my heart and my eyes with tears, I couldnt see His face, but He got off His throne, and put His arms around me and my heart melted with sobs of tears and love that seemed to flow from Jesus to me. Lord I said, let me worship at your feet, for Im not worthy of your love nor to stand in your presence, I have loved you with an everlasting love He said. I could see the scars in His feet. I felt that He fully accepted me with all my failings and weaknesses, and filled me with all His love and compassion and tender mercy.
Then He said to me go back, and live for me, for I am with you even until the ends of the earth.
