No, there's no QED. There's a difference between a child and a fetus. No abortion is ever performed on a child because a child is a developed organism that is actually alive. A fetus is not.

Ridiculous? You disappoint me, AV -- something I hardly thought possible anymore.

"Walking on water" is a fine metaphor to demonstrate God's power over nature... and makes perfect sense in a Biblical context.

Plenty of Old Testament figures (most famously Moses) parted water to walk on dry land... in order to establish Jesus as not only a member of this exclusive club, but as the Head Honcho, so to speak, he not only had to imitate them, but one-up them, as he often is depicted as doing.

They part water to walk on dry land... He walks on water as if it was dry land... take that!

Ridiculous? Hardly. Raise your game, AV -- you have depths of absurdity that even you haven't fully plumbed yet... but I believe in you.
