my dad

I dad had surgery tuesday to remove a cancer mass from his kidney. He isn't doing so good right now. He has fluid on his lungs and his kidneys aren't working right and he may need to be put on dialysis. Please pray for my dad and my family.

I haven't been to the hospital today yet. I can't get myself together long enough, so I am waiting for my husband to get off work. But I just talked to my mom, my dad has three specialist in today. He was on the Cancer floor but they have moved him up to the Lung floor so they can be right there and he can get the care that he needs without waiting. THe kidney doc said that he is doing better. I'm not sure what that means I'm waiting for my mom to call me back. The surgeon was with him when i called. I'm trying my best to stand strong, this may be my step dad, but he is the only dad that has takin the time to be my dad and love me no matter what stupid things i do . HE just gives me that Look and says "Let's see if we can fix it". It's hard seeing him in that bed. We went through this a year and a half ago with my husbands dad. So it brings back memories I don't even want to think about. Well thank you for praying, please keep prayin with me for my dad and my family. THanks

Still praying for him, and you. These days, step dads are the only dads that some people know. Sounds like he fits the "job description" perfectly!

My dad is doing much better. he has been sittin up in a chair all day and has even been for a walk with a walker. The doc has even said he can have soilds. if he keeps getting better they will let him go home. Thanks for your prayers and your thoughts.
