My dad used to be a very strong Christian when my mom married him but he has fallen away and I don't think he really even believes in it anymore. I went to a few camps (christian) in the summer and it really made me want to do everything for God and I started to have a much greater relationship with him. I started praying with a passion every night and my dad has actually started to go to church! I can see a few changes in him but it is not near done. I would love it if you guys would pray for him because he is going through a tough time right now. Thankyou.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lord God,
Thank You so much for the faith with which you have blessed Fire-Proof, and for his blossoming relationship with You! Thank you also that the change in Fire-Proof is also having a positive effect on his dad.
Jesus, I pray that this progress back towards knowing You would be nurtured by Your spirit and all who have contact with Fire-Proof's father. Please may he find the encouragement and wise-counsel that he needs. Please pour out Your love and blessings upon this man that he might remember, and better understand the necessity for You to rule in his life.
Lord, please bring this dearly loved sheep back to Your fold.
