He just wants to lump them all together because they all, in one way or another, undermine his interpretation of scripture. All part of the same atheistic socialist conspiracy, don't you know.
In the meantime, care to read Harvard's Cosmic Evolution Syllabus ?

Just $1350.00

I never cared much for those broad-band science survey courses. They're always full of Liberal Arts undergraduates and don't give you any more info than you could get by reading a book.

Well, regardless of what you think of your seminars and such, if you expect me to think cosmic evolution is not taught in higher academia, you have another think coming.

I suspect higher academia now teaches courses that you guys aren't familiar with.

It's a survey course. So what? All universities offer such courses under one name or another. Why do you care what the course is called?

What if you taught the same material but called the class something else--say, "A Survey of Modern Science"--would it still be evil?

Have a day. :)

Keep denying your own academics if you wish.

Just don't deny the Bible, or I'll set you straight.

It's called "Cosmic Evolution". We've already established that.

What we've also established is that it is not what you think it is and you are dishonestly continuing this nonsense. Do I need to report you to the admins for this continued poor behaviour?

Care to tell us what the Cosmic Evolution Survey is?

The name of a large scale project that involves some 150 astronomers to learn about the development of galaxies and to test hypothesis concerning that.

AV, tell us, do you understand that cosmic evolution is a fundamentally different thing to biological evolution?
Believe me, Kylie, I've been showing the relationship of biological evolution to cosmic evolution for years now.

If cosmic evolution is the rainbow, then biological evolution is the color indigo.

That's probably the best example I can think up.

It kind of speaks volumes, when the "best example" makes no sense whatsoever.

Is your gripe, then, that as a proponent of this field of study higher academia won't take you seriously and play along? Shame on them.

Lol, what? Unless you think stars reproduce and have genetic material, cosmic things are not going to evolve by the same mechanism as living organisms.

Really? is that what I think?

Is that what Harvard and those institutions that offer courses for cosmic evolution ($1350.00) think as well?

Then enlighten me. What does biological evolution share with cosmic evolution? What processes are the same between those two things?

Don't know; don't care.

I haven't taken any courses.

I remember this post from a long time ago:
Point of order...RNA may have evolved without being alive. Evolution does not require life to occur, merely self replicating systems.
