  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My copy of Iustitia Dei arrived today!

one thing - I usually stay on the internet so I can look up some of Latin, greek, hebrew or aramaic words and phrases that pop up all over the place. If you don't, it's pretty easy to get lost as he doesn't always define what the words mean.

But otherwise, enjoy the book, it is very good.

I don't know if you'd be interested, but I just found a new book on the issue of language. It builds off of the other book I suggested to you in a email a few months back called "is there a meaning in this text". Anyways, the new book is here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...f=sr_1_3/104-9030954-2489553?v=glance&s=books

It looks like it just went to print last year so it covers more recent developments.

Great, I'll add it to the list. (I think it'll take me many years to finish it!)
