My Catholic finds.... Estates, etc.

This is just a start folks. I got things everywhere that I have saved. I will add as I come across them and time allows. I just took a few quick pics this evening as I have other things I need to get done. But it is a start! Here is a cool little vocation stamp box I ran across at an estate.

From the 40's bakelite sacred hearts of Jesus and Mary.

This Virgin Mary I found broken in an antique shop. I took her home and repaired her and put a few old rosaries around her. She is from the 40's as well. She used to be in someone's yard but I thought she deserved a place on the mantle after so many years. You cannot tell she has ever been broken now.

Old medals and pocket saints! Notice the John Neumann one? I have a beautiful old medal I need to dig up of St. Therese.

This one is my rear view mirror in my car. Ignore my hands. Been gardening! The sacred heart is from 1950. Was given out in June of that year! I love it. It glows in the dark! Not a good pic. If you want to see a piece clearer, let me know.

My addition for today. Like I said, does not even scratch the surface but I'll try to post pieces daily as I dig them out. Here is my antique Sacred Heart Chaplet. One of my favorite pieces.

My antique blue rosary. I really need to bunch all my rosaries and chaplets up and try to display the most unique somehow. I have hundreds I have gotten since my conversion.

I have only found two of this type of rosary where the center splays out to reveal the mysteries.

My WWI steel soldier's rosary. Catholic soldiers used to take them to the battlefield with them. Very strong rosary.
