  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just saw my cat open a dresser drawer about 30 sec ago.
Anyway my Cat will BEAT all your pets in a "Coolness Contest"

1)Because his hair looks like a TUX
2)He doesn't come when I call him
3)He can't do any tricks
4)He sleeps on his back
5)He almost always has dingle berries :D
6)That's about it :D

His name is Oreo but I call him Cook E. Jarr because I saw that guy on TV and couldn't stop laughing!

Hmm. I think my cat wins.

1. He comes when I call him...but I don't have to say anything..just rustle the bag of cat food a bit. Now that's love.

2. He's a black cat, and they are the best.

3. He's a glutton. He's SO fat! And still a kitten yet!

4. He's got quite a little motor on him when he's got a full belly and a warm lap to lay on.

5. He picks fights with pups twice his size fearlessly. *proud*

So :p!! Hehe...Oh and I suppose you want a name? His name....is William Joseph Focker. But we just call 'em "Hims." It's improper English I know! But it's funny none-the-less. :D

My cat (oh, she would be so made if she saw me call her mine!) is black and grey striped, with white feet, white chest and belly. Her mother was a black long haired cat, and Clio does have some shag on her chest and belly and wild long hairs on her arms and legs, but is otherwise shorthaired. Very sleek, if you're looking at her from above. :)

She doesn't come when I call her, but she hides when I bring out my overnight bag.

She eats rose petals. No, more than that, she will beg for rose petals, and even if she gets one or two, she will sit on the floor in front of wherever I've stashed the roses and cry for them.

She likes to sneak into my lingerie drawer and thinks I don't see her.

She sleeps on her back with her arms and legs splayed out, and sometimes I have to check and make sure she's breathing. I call this her "carcass act."

Sometimes when she's eating, she'll sit with her tail straight out on the ground and looks like a big rat.

When she tucks her arms and legs beneath her while she's "nesting," you really can't tell she has any. She looks like she just has a head, body and tail. It's kinda disconcerting.

She likes to sit on top of my monitor, but only bothers with the computer or desk if I'm at it. Most of the time when I'm on the computer, she'll stretch out on the arm of the sofa (right behind the desk chair) and touch me with her hand.

When she visits my parents, she doesn't sit on the upholstered furniture, but when we're home, she's all over it. I guess all kids are more well behaved at the grandparents'. ;)
