My bump is too big!!!

I went to see my midwife last Tuesday for my regular check up.

During the check up she measured my bump - i was at the time just uner 28 weeks and i was measuring around 32 - 34 weeks.

I have to go back to see her next Tues to see if i have grown more than i should of done in the two weeks. If i have i will have to go for a scan

I have no obvious problems - ie nothing is showing up in my urine. So i am just praying that baby is long (which they thnk might be the case). I'm also carrying the baby all at the front.

Praying for you! Try not to worry about it though,when I was 20 weeks I was measuring 25 weeks! Now I am measuring normal.

You know I never thought to ask my doctor what my measurements were. Although I have only been measured once.

It could have just been the position of the baby at the time you were measured. How many cm did you actually measure? Saying you measure 32-34 weeks shows a big margin. What was the actual measurement?

I posted what I found on possible reasons as to why you're measuring big...

hopefully it's just nothing... and we know you don't have twins lol, they didn't find em in your last scan lol

if it makes you feel any better, I'm still measuring small.. but the baby appears to be healthy!!... I measured small with all my babies and they're all good!

It could very well have been the position of the baby, or the baby just had a growth spurt. Next time it'll probably be closer to where it "should" be (although every baby and mom are different).
