CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know. My mom and everybody we know knows. He wrote a note and we found it before he left. Then he just drove off. Please pray hard for him!

When he gets back, put him in the car and take him right to the emergency room! Act like he's having a heart attack or he chopped off his arm. A suicide threat is no less dangerous!

I would put him in an ambulance and all of that but, he is 6'4 280 lbs. of lots of muscle!+

Is your bro saved through prayer?? Well one reason I don't believe in GOD because he never seems to help my bro who is a mental case. MY dad prays for him everynight. A bunch of people come to my house and pray for him, but he just seems to be getting worse...

Valkyrie - If you don't believe in God, why do you come here to this Christian Forum? I don't have a problem with you being here, I actually am enjoying your questions. But, surely you have a reason for asking them? Maybe God has put it on your heart to WANT to come here, despite your saying you don't believe in Him. If you are one of His Chosen, He WILL get to you somehow. As they say: "Don't leave before the Miracle can happen"
