My son Josh became a soldier a few months ago and was told all that it entailed. He recently started going with a girl with a "history" and I didn't know she isn't a believer (he met her at youth camp).I have been reminding him that as a christian and as a soldier there are certain behavioural expectations for him. HE and the young lady were watching a movie in his bed (fully clothed) and warned him of the appearance of evil. The young lady got upset and walked home with Josh close on her heels. When I tracked him down and brought him home he took his Articles of War off his wall and threw them out the window where they smashed. I told him no matter what he does to the paper his vow doesn't just go away and he says he doesn't believe in God anymore.

Sounds as though he's lashing out because he's mad, and knew exactly what would upset you

Sounds like Josh and his young lady friend had a teenage tantrum. Your son needs to show some respect to you, his mother.
Maybe he needs the T.V taken out of his room?
