I was just reported for a post I made in this debate and discussion form and I am assuming the result will be a ban.

How long are bans for? Just curious.

Just because you get reported does not mean you will get banned. The mod's have to review the report and investigate the validity of the report. If it's not too personal what thread did you get reported in?

Here are the basics...

NORMAL BANS of 1 month’s duration are automatically activated by the presence of 4 infractions or points on a member’s record. They are site-wide bans.
8 points gets the member a PERMA-BAN

Threathening or flaming moderators in reports can also cause a ban of 1 month’s duration .
