My babies are leaving me!

First........my 21 yo son moved out with a 48 yo woman. Did I fail to mention that I am 43?

Then today I am taking my baby to the army recruiter to make some important decisions about his life and his career choices and I lose my 19 yo daughter to that Army also!!!

I want them to grow up and do great things but did they have to do it all at the same time?

I am also praying for your younger children, and that they do well in the Army. My daughter gave it everything she had, it just wasn't right for her.

My son is in the army too, way up in the North of Norway, where the Winters are very dark and cold. He joined the army on August 17th this year and has to serve for 1 year. Young men have to serve for one year in Norway. He is doing fine there and will come home on his 1st leave late September. He is so precious.

mamabear I have no clue what she is thinking. I cannot stand her and yet God is making me be nice to her because he promised me she would not be my daughter in law.


The army just wasn't right for me either.

Well........Chelsea is going in around Nov 1. She just has to get her GED get the dr to clear her (she will ill when she was smaller) and byebye. Im excited and sad all at the same time. I wasn't expecting to have an empty nest so soon.

I feel for you. I wish some of mine would go, but not far. Mine drive me nuts! It would be nice to have some peace around here.

There is a hold up on my daughter. I have to take her to a doctor stating that her health is good because she was very ill in 1998.

I know of a guy who I used to go to church with, married a woman 40 years older than he is. She's 84; he's 40-something. But he says that he loved her and she loved him.

And I thought the couple next door was bad! She is a couple years younger than me, he is 25! They have been together since he was about 15!
