Magic is forbidden.
That makes the question in the first post a lie because
  • It does not exclude magic.
  • The only way that it can be answered in Physical & Life Sciences is by mostly magic because it is physically impossible for the Ark to exist, float, contain the number of animals, feed the number of animals, etc.
Say that you really meant this for a religous section of the forum and all this happens because of miracles. Then there is the issue of Noah and his selective blindness.
God did the miracle of zapping koalas from Australia. God did the miracle of zapping eucalyptus leaves (koala food) out of nothing during the flood. God did the miracle of zapping koalas back to Australia.
Repeat for thousands of animals and often unique food sources.

It is reasonable to ask how can we trust what Noah wrote when he did not write about these miracles?

That's why I asked where it is today.
And why I answered: No one knows.

And does the fact that we aren't tell you that God had something to do with it?
No. What you wrote tells me that you have a personal faith that God had something to do with it.
The result is God has lied to us by faking evidence, e.g. has been mutating people for the last few thousand years.

What it tells me is that you are spreading already well known physical evidence against the flood.

I was joking. Nobody will ever know the answers, although I'm sure some theories could postulate how it might have been accomplished.

It's all a matter of faith, which is what Christianity is based upon. Even if the Ark were to be found and it could be determined how/what all was loaded, what does it prove? Its not going to change what people want to believe or how they behave.

Indeed, because religious belief does not rest or depend upon actual evidence.

No, science can't answer questions about events that demonstrably never actually took place.
Except by saying "it never happened".
Science is myopic.

Then what's the cure for cancer?

Depends on the cancer.

I can assure that if we ever obtain a generic method to cure any type of cancer, it will be discovered through science and not by reading bronze age books.

Having said that: truelly silly question in the context of your reply.

AV can be likened to the “Japanese holdouts” who continued to fight loooooong after the war was over. Their dogma was so ingrained that they simply refused to accept that their compatriots on the mainland had surrendered.

The flood story was a deliberate exaggeration based on a local flood legend written for the child like minds of Bronze Age sheep hearders.

Japanese holdouts (残留日本兵 Zanryū nipponhei, "remaining Japanese soldiers") or stragglers were Japanese soldiers in the Pacific Theatre who, after the August 1945 surrender of Japan ending World War II, either adamantly doubted the veracity of the formal surrender due to dogmatic militaristic principles, or simply were not aware of it because communications had been cut off by Alliedadvances.

Some continued to fight the enemy forces, and later local police, for years after the war was over. Others volunteered with local independence movements during the First Indochina War and Indonesian War of Independence.

Intelligence officer Hiroo Onoda, who was relieved of duty by his former commanding officer on Lubang Island in the Philippines in March 1974, and Teruo Nakamura, who was stationed on Morotai Island in Indonesia and surrendered in December 1974, were the last confirmed holdouts, though rumors persisted of others.

"If"? "Discovered"? Sounds like science is myopic.

Faith in the Israelites exaggerated history isn’t the same as faith in God. Their creation story has been debunked among intellectually honest people.
I've seen "intellectually honest" debunks and want no part of them.

Especially the "intellectually honest" parts about the Earth being created with a brass dome.

Can you, for example, show me an "intellectually honest" version of academia's cherub?

Is it this?

Just YES or NO please.

By way of another example, in the "intellectually honest" academic circle, were the events during the creation week in Genesis 1 considered MAGIC or MIRACLES?

What's this, in the "intellectually honest" arena?

Whatever makes you sleep at night. I guess.
If I'm not supposed to get any sleep at night because academia doesn't know it's myopic then sleep apnea is at a new low.

In some cases dead children.
I'll say this much.

Most people here I'm leery to talk to because I don't think they're being honest.

You're not one of them.
