I apologize to everyone for my posts. I am new to the sight and I didn't know how to click that arrow at the top right to see peoples reaction. I probably would have stopped after my first post if I knew of the negative remarks I received back. If anyone felt I judged them I am sorry but for those of you who sent me back negative remarks didn't you judge me. I just have a different understanding of what can happen from listening to secular heavy metal. I do have problems with trying to figure out how not to judge others but at the same time bring attention to sin. Not to focus on someones sin because I sin as well. Does anyone have advice on how to approach this topic.
Romans 12:9 says Love must be sincere, Hate the evil, stick to what is good. We are supposed to help each other grow from our mistakes but we have to do it in a non-jugemental way. I have grown from the feedback I have received even though a majority of the responses were negative. Aren't negative responses judgemental. Where do we draw that fine line of where to step over the line to mention sinful actions. When it says hate the evil it means hate the sin but to love the person. I care about everyone and just because anyone isn't experiencing what I went through doesn't mean it can't happen. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Can someone please let me know how we as Christians are allowed to justify sinful lyrics. I just don't get it.
Once again I apologize and please forgive me for my heart has only been into Christianity for 2 months. I didn't realize that I was hurting your feelings. There will always be things that are right for some Christians and wrong for others and vice versa. Now that I know this I will not post any more judgemental threads on secular music. It is your choice what to listen to. I will pray that no one opens a gateway because if you do you will remember these posts. Good luck to everyone.
