  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey all well bubs didn't come yesterday I'm now 41 weeks and 1 day! But I am pretty happy bubs didn't turn up because it meant we got to enjoy our anniversary.

So a few of you have been hanging out to hear what my big surprizes were.

I woke up to the smell of pancakes and croissants.
I love both so my husband thought he would make both so i could choose.

After breakfast the presents started:
Jesse had made me a certificate that was awarded for being the greatest wife in the world!

He wrote me a totally beautiful card.

Then the greatest gift he brought me a diamond bracelet and matching earings!!!!

here's a pic it's not the clearest but you get the idea:

After the diamonds i was over the moon so i suggested a little fun ;) before he left for work.

I had to go have an internal yesterday so we met up for lunch before going to the hospital. We had a little picnic and then it was off for my internal.

(The internal wasn't anywhere near as bad as i thought it was going to be the doctor was really gentle and she explained exactly what she would do before doing it!)

I took Hubby back to work and then went home, I had such a nice day i thought i would just relax and watch the princess bride. I certainly felt like a princess yesterday :D

When he came home from work we got all dressed up he wouldn't tell me where we were going but i knew it was fancy cause he told me to get dolled up.

He took me to the Hotel we stayed in on our wedding night!!!
It was so beautiful we had this unbelievable meal and the restaurant only had one other couple in it! so it was totally private.

Then he arranged to have us spend sometime in the room we stayed in on our wedding night!

(originally he had planned to book the room for the night but with bubs he didnt know wether i would be able to stay the night there.)

Then the night was almost over but he had one last surprize.
We went to baskin and robins to have some ice-cream and go for a walk along the river.

It was a truly amazing day i had so much fun and when i climbed into bed last night i was so content. I can't belive how beautiful my hubby is and i am so much more in love with him than i ever have been.

I hope and pray that all your marriages/relationships are as blessed as mine :)

Wow that's a great 4th Anniversary gift.

We've been married 3 years this May. I'm not sure what we are doing in the way of gifts but i know we are going out for a meal. The great thing is that my H has just won a meal for 2 at a 5 * hotel - we think it's a 3 or 4 course meal worth quite a bit. So we are going there and saving money which is great. The hotel costs £500 per night so i don't think we'll be able to stay the night there lol

Me too!!!! We never do so this is such a surprise.

And it's come at the right time because we are trying to save money as i'm giving up work when the bubs comes - so we get to have an anniversary meal well out of our price range and for free - yay!!!!!
