My Angels

I don't really know if this is in the right place but anyway.
I would like some feed back concerning, in my opinion, a rather odd question.  We are supposed to have angels on our left and our right.  And when I think about this, the first thing that comes into my mind is "Isha and Nephram"...and I honestly don't know why or what it means or even who these names belong too.  I told my dad...he says that they are the angels telliing me their names.  I still wonder about them.  And even now...nothing has changed...if I think guardian angels...those are the first things that pop into my head...those names. Feed back anyone?

No I am saying that that is what My dad has told, and also these names only pop in my head when I think of such things.  And frankly, I like angels.

Yes, God can and does use angels to protect us, atleast some of the time. But it is not a good idea to try to contact angels, demons, nor any human that has died. That is condemned in God's Word, and you can easily be inadvertently contacting demons which is very bad as they are not going to help you but harm you.

Yes, we know that a third of the angels followed Satan. Satan himself could appear as an angel of light. Besides, I don't think the word of God would support special revelation such as being revealed the names of angels which are not in the Bible. I'd just rely on God's word and rebuke anything that is contrary to His word.

And contacting them?? hehe, nah I'm just wanting to know what is going on.  I didn't have such intentions, but that stuff is good to know.

I'm aware of the prohibition against summoning spirits, but I haven't spotted anything that would prohibit speaking with angels, if they happened to be in a chatty mood.

Because God's Word does not tell Christians to contact angels. In His Word God tells us to pray to Him and to Him alone. He does not say that we can talk to angels, pray to them, nor ask them to pray for us.

Demons can (and do) appear as angels of light. To deceive, as Eve (then Adam) was deceived, and harm.

I believe these beings are demonic. You need to rebuke them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and to stop doing anything you may be doing to attract them such as talking to them, thinking about them, owning objects attached to them, and the like. Burn anything that you have gotten from them or on their request.

Also, please go to a Biblical pastor very soon and get deliverance. (However please do not get into the Bob Larson/DWJD thing as it seems to be more interested in delivering you from your cash than from demons)

Let me re-explain myself here


1. Contact? No I have not contacted them or whatever it is or even if it is just a figure in my imagination. No talking, no contact, NADA.

2. I don't think about them often, I just wonder about it because I have the same thoughts when I thought about the same thing.

3. Owning anything of theirs or getting anything from them: no contact, therefore I have nothing to do with them.

4. Thinking about them: Its not very often at all, but I could work on not doing it I guess.

Hi, I think Susan is a little off there. You don't need to get deliverance. Her heart is in the right place. And please I don't think we should say don't see so and so.

Anyway, angels serve only God. I believe they do watch over us and listen for Gods word. Angels can (if its what God wants) talk to you. I believe it would only be according to his word. Lol thinking about them makes me think about Jesus. All I would say is let there name thing go. I would love to chat with an angel but I know that they wont. They only abey Gods word. I know a pastor that needed a payment REAL bad. Well in his office he said it was like the roof went away and there were two HUGE angels. He said they looked at him and said "we are waiting for the command". he was kinda lost but thought they ment the word so he said some verse(I forgot) and then they were gone. The next day a man came in to his office and said "you know I don't like you but the lord told me to give you this money" It was the same amount he needed. Watch what you say, always keep Gods word in you mouth. Keep your eyes on Jesus (and the word) and you will never go wrong.

So......satan can become an angel of light, but real angels can't/won't here on Earth?  That makes no sense to me.

Isn't there a verse in the Bible about angels on Earth?  There are spirits and principalities all around us, both good and evil that we cannot even comprehend. 

I don't think all angels that you may come in contact with are evil, and you don't need to rebuke them.  Only if they're evil.

I don't think that you have to worry too much about deliverance. Remember:
Heb 13:2 - Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.

I find it very comforting to know that God has placed Angels among us.

I also think that the best way to drawn demons is to be negative in your thinking. So if someone tells you to be afraid and never do this or that for fear of this or that... be fully aware that they are advising you to do what is right from their own vantage point.

Keep Christ in your Soul and LOVE in your Heart, then you need not be afraid... for you are never alone.

I think that it is neat that you have the names. But if problems do come... call out to God. IMO That is the only way to get the angels to respond. They do not act on their own desires.

I have thought of a name for my guardian angel. And I believe that it's the name God intended for him, else, why would I think of it? My angel does his part in protecting me and encouraging the feeling of God's peace, protection, and warmth within my heart.

I'd like to recommend a book for anyone who is interested. It's called "Angels, Dark and Light" by Gary Kinnaman. It's an excellent biblically grounded book that deals with the subject of angels.
