I don't believe in Angels because i don't believe in the supernatural.

I suspect that the TEs believe that Angels were all created ex-nilo by God at the beginning/outside of time.

My reading of the Bible and Christian mythology (can I use the word in this context?) about Nephilim seems to indicate that angels breeding with humans (or at all) is counter for what was commanded by God.

In your opinion, are the "sons of God" in Genesis 6:2 Angels... and is there a difference between disobedient Angels there and Satan's forces described elsewhere?

You can put an Angel in a fleshy body, but it's still an immortal spiritual messenger, not a body.

Yes, I need more information. I can't tell you if angels evolve or not unless I know whether they are biological creatures or not. If they are biological creatures which self-reproduce with heritable variation then they might evolve. Otherwise it is impossible to know.

I don't know if they do or not, but I think you're right. Hopefully this challenge will answer that.

We say there are two types of angels: fallen and unfallen.

Of the fallen, there are two types: chained and unchained.

These guys were the [husbands] of the wives on Earth, and sired the Nephilim.

For this egregious act, God locked them up until Judgement Day.

Maybe there is a continuous chain of consciousnesses. Some are more focused on a human brain and some are more focused on abstractions such as the will of God. An angel would be a consciousness that is focused on the will of God. An encounter with an angel would be a shift in consciousness from the human brain to the will of God.

But they can imitate them, almost down to the DNA level.

I say "almost," because, when they [married] women on Earth, and had children, those children became giants on the Earth.

As of 2015 there were more people who claimed adherence to religions which have angels than those that don't. Roughly 55% of the world's population. I don't really see how that is a challenge, but meh. It also doesn't demonstrate that all those claimants do, in fact, believe in angels, so it's possible that I'm actually in the majority.

That is my answer - everything including us is just a point of focus in a universal consciousness. When that consciousness is focused on the sensory experience of a human brain then it seems to be a human consciousness and when that consciousness is focused on some aspect of God's will then it seems to be an angelic consciousness.

So you're saying the "daughters of men" in Genesis 6 are responsible for "conscious-ing" their husbands into existence and, ultimately, corrupting all flesh on the Earth?

David fought Goliath, whose DNA could be traced back to a Nephlim, who was the offspring of one of these "angelic consciousnesses."
