Today we focus our prayers on the dominant Islamic sect in Saudi Arabia: Wahhabi Muslims. They see themselves as the great rule keepers of Islam. They are committed, zealous, and deeply religious. Wahhabism focuses on following Islamic teaching as literally as possible – and harshly judging any self-proclaimed Muslims who don’t meet that standard. In the Bible, Jesus was challenged by officials with a similar motivation. He made it clear that God is more concerned with the condition of our hearts than with us religiously following a set of rules. Let's pray along with Al Fadi in our video today for those that follow Wahhabism, that they would be convicted in their heart by the Holy Spirit and they would redirect that toward Jesus, the only true God.​
