Muslim attack on Papal Website fails

Islamic computer hackers reportedly tried to disrupt the Vatican web site last week, but failed.

In an online forum for militant Muslims, a previously unknown group had announced plans for an assault on the Vatican computer network, which was said to be a form of retribution for Pope Benedict's recent speech which was seen by many Muslims as an attack on Islam.

Police later confirmed that there had been a concerted effort by hackers to penetrate the Vatican site, but computer-security experts were able to detect and repel the attack.

Could it be that the religion of Perpetual Outrage has finally met its match? If anyone was going to stand up to their attacks, of course it would be the German Shepherd and his crack computer squad.

I don't think you appreciate just how ironic that comment is. By saying that Muslims are insensitive, you yourself demonstrate your own insensitivity.

If I understand it correctly, he was making a blanket statement, saying that most Muslims are insensitive; the word 'most' is critical here. He wasn't just saying that some Muslims are insensitive (which is true of any religion), he was saying that most of them are.
