I loved Grease...my daughter played Sandy in a local production of the stage musical when she was 18 several years ago. Saw it several times because she was in it, but loved it as well as the movie with Olivia Newton John (Sandy) and John Travolta (Danny). Especially liked the final scene where Sandy comes out transformed and so....well...you can imagine my surprise when my daughter came out and did her final dance number with the guy who played Danny. It was cool ...or should I say hot? Liked that it was set in the fifties...my high school era.

i love musicals there fab ive been in loadsa includin joseph oliver wizard of oz bugsy malone copacabana guys n dolls fiddler on the roof and am currently rehearsing 4 a concert we are going to do with all different songs in it including chicago n 42nd street i am also doing Jesus christ superstar wiv the school i also love going to see them i have been 2 c grease saturday night fever whistle down the wind scrooge that was fab! west side story and many ovas any1 hu wants 2 tlk 2 me about musicals can tlk 2 me anytime i love them!

We saw Phantom of the Opera last year...the Andrew Llyod Webber screen version. When the music went up, the lights on, and black and white turned to color in the chandelier scene in the beginning it took my breath away.

Not right now but every so often some theatre group does it...usually a local production. Not sure about N.Y. but doubt it.

I really like musicals... Opera's not so much, but musicals I like. I'm not as big a fan of movie musicals though... I dunno!

I'm totally artsy. I love all musicals, but my favorites would have to be "The Phantom of the Opera" and "The Sound of Music." Classics
