They're called earworms
It's interesting that the researchers found that the song was not responsible for the earworm - it was the personality of the listener.

How to repair?
I don't know.
You are not cold and without feelings.
Was the first that came to me when I read your post and listened to your music.
Hope you did not take offence.
Communicating on the net can be dicy sometimes.
No, I didn't take offense. lol.
Given my posts about sadistic spirituality, and the inability to feel connected with others, the assumptions are reasonable, lol.
A Swedish Jew who knows Kitty Wells. Nice anti-Calvinist song.Best that happened, when women broke into the man's World of country.
Would reckon.

This is just FYI, 'cause I've seen you do it before, but when you spell America with a k (Amerika), over here that's sort of like code for "I hate America". Just in case you don't know.Haha, I found her the other day,
but I have been to Amerika though,
was overwhelmed by so many radio stations.
Glad you like it too.

In my experience some music is harmful to my psychological or spiritual health. Lately I have been relapsing into depression, paranoia, and anxiety. At the same time I have found myself becoming obsessed with a particular song. A similar thing happened several years ago with the same song. I don't know if the song causes the psychological problems or if the psychological problems make me obsessed with this song. Normally I avoid the song, because it gives me ear worms. Now that I am aware that this cycle is repeating, I know that I must not listen to this song, and I feel better already.
I'm also a fan of Depeche Mode. What once started as some New Wave Boy band, actually developed into a band with thought provoking lyrics. As far as s/m spirituality goes, I think their lyrics and general aesthetic fit well into that.
I normally am not normally a person who is concerned with lyrics, but when it comes to Depeche mode I do enjoy delving into what their songs actually mean.
Where are all those temples Art?
