  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My itunes is filled with all kinds of music I love. And that's not counting all the CDs I have. ;)

I love rock. Mostly bands like Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park, All-American Rejects, Simple Plan, Evensesence, things like that. I'd go down my list but I'd be here all day.

But I do love Christian rock as well. I'm starting to get into more and more varietys of Christian rock songs after listening to a Christian rock radio station on the Internet. Bands such as Jeremy Camp, Relient K, Jesse Daniels, Superchick, Stellar Kart, Switchfoot, and a bunch more.

But besides rock, I listen to Musical Soundtracks too, and some japansese music. For musicals, Phantom of the Opera and Wicked. The japanese music is mostly stuff from anime shows I sometimes watch. Some are in English, some are in japansese. I just listen to the music mostly since I can't understand a word of what they are saying. ;)

I'm all over the map lol. At heart I think I'm just a rocker lol. I can almost always go for rock short of extreme super death-metal screamo music (death metal is cool but I can only take so much lol). Also a big fan of soundtracks, Middle Eastern music, ska, a rare rap artist, and swing. On the Christian scene I like Skillet, Underoath, the Apologetix, TobyMac, Five Iron Frenzy, Roper, dc Talk, Kids in the Way, Spoken, Deluxetone Rockets, Further Seems Forever, and a fair deal of underground Christian artists. On the secular scene, I like Evanescence, System of a Down (can't stand their lyrics but musically they can't be beat; always looking for parodies and kareoke of them lol), The Ramones, At the Drive-In, Will Smith, Creed (well... they're kind of Christian now that Scott Stapp is solo lol), and a great many singles lol.

Pretty much everything but some hiphop, rap, and new R&B. Old, real R&B is awesome, big band jazz, punk, hardcore, zydeco, ska, blues, most country, classic rock, bluegrass, folk, most classical, choral, rave/trance stuff is so funny it's hard not to like. The list goes on, though I must add that one style I dislike is the contemporary Chrstian music scene, too stinkin' beige musically for me.

I'm more of a rock guy but I'll listen to alot of 'other' music even if I don't know the genre. It's funny to see what reaction you get about a handful of these artists.

Rock bands:
Staind
Audioslave
Tool
Evans Blue
Nine Inch Nails
Nickleback
Godsmack
Greenday
Chevelle
Dave Mathews Band
Bush (miss them)
Nirvana (miss them)
Linkin Park (where'd they go?)
Rage Against the Macine (miss them)
There's others...
