Wow, I can't believe no one's started a thread for Music & Lyrics, the romantic comedy with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. It's such a charming, funny movie!

The music is great and the script is full of witty one-liners. Great fun, all in all.

Trivia: Heard in an interview with Haley Bennett (Cora Corman) that the ending of the movie changed from when she filmed it. I liked the way it turned out; the other way was to have the Hugh Grant character choose between Cora and Sophie. That would've been too contrived, imho.

Go and see it, everyone. Thumbs up, here!

I rarely see movies more than once (and almost never see it twice in the movie theater), but this movie has so many cute scenes and jokes that I would go again if a friend wanted to see it.

I confess, I also have a weakness for pop songs, so that makes the movie even more enjoyable. Go see it!

At first I didn't think this movie would be very good, but my little sister really wanted to see it, so I took her to it and we both really liked it. It's a really cute romantic comedy, and I reccomend it.

I am a push over for romantic comedies especially with Hugh Grant in them. And Drew Barrymore to me has been a delight ever since I saw her wonderful performance in "Riding in Cars with Boys." Ah, she was so cute in E.T. too!

I liked her in "Never been Kissed" and "Forty First Dates." Huge Grant played a minor role in "The Remains of the Day" (a favorite movie of mine). but he was outstanding especially his scene with Anthony Hopkins where Hopkins is giving him a little talk on "the birds and the bees." Comedic break in a very intense and sad, but excellent, film.

I love Pop! Goes My Heart and of course Way Back Into Love. Also Buddha's Delight, Meaningless Kiss and Bootytown (except the lyrics are lame on Bootytown).

Wow Im surprised all of you guys liked the movie! There were a few "cute" lines in it but overall I didn't think much of the movie and would definitely not recommend it to anyone to go see in theaters. Save your money. I didn't find the romance real, and I thought the comedy was just 'eh'. I did however like the song they worked on.

I love love love Music & Lyrics! Definately an all-time favorite. Of course, it helps that Hugh Grant is in it. Such an amazing voice! Oh well, yup.

I found the movie ok, but it is not one of my favourites. Loved the soundtrack though!

I got it on DVD and I enjoyed it. (I'm a sucker for good music tunes. Little Voice is another music movie I'd recommend.)
