Many believers do not realize they will experience tests and trials in their lives after redemption. God does not want us to settle down and be content with this world.Jesus made it clear that in this world there would be severe problems. He said,"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you, let not you heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." [ John 14:27 ] Jesus also said," In the world you shall have tribllulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." We see that God has something to offer us that satisfies. He wants to teach us through the tests we face to depend only on him to meet our needs.
He wants to teach us his ways. We must learn to trust God not only when the times are good but also when there seems to be no solution to our problems.
We must realize that we do not know how God is going to solve our problems but," all things work together for good to them that love God." This means we must reconize his sovereignty and ability to accomplish what he knows is best for us and for him.
