Bullets fired from the tank flew through the classroom window, hitting Mahmoud Hamad in the neck and Hisham al Habil in the head. The boys had not even been sitting by the windows but in the middle of the room.

Children caught in war is a terrible thing.
The predation of those who would groom them to take part, failing in their duty of care to them, allowing them to be any where near the danger is appalling and should indeed be condemned.
Certainly the actions by trained psychopaths (in every army of the world) is a shocking thing to behold and the training of people to kill day after day, year after year in defence of their nation should be condemned as well.

Nothing to do with the fact that the cowards of the opposition hide themselves in schools, hospitals and homes I guess.

But as I wrote, psychopaths are universally regarded as impassionate killers of all. All armies train their killers to be psychopaths. The same sort of terrible thing happens in all wars (particularly where they take place around the innocent, using them as shields), it is not at all excusable, but the IDF seem to be particularly deplorable for some reason.....

Those are sad stories and those people should be held accountable. I'm sure we could find a lot of similar examples of terrible things done by other armies of other nations during times of war. I'm thankful that at least it doesn't seem like stories like that can be told of the American army. Or maybe I'm just naive.
