I have lived a reasonable number of years on this planet and, throughout every last one of them, I have never....never....never once seriously considered killing anybody......

As a matter of fact, in all my life, I have not even gotten remotely close to actually contemplating or even thinking about committing the act of murder......

I am sure that most of you can say pretty much the same thing about yourselves.....

Yet, in this country alone, tens of thousands of murders are committed every year......

And I am not just talking about "crimes of passion," where an individual just "loses it" for a few minutes and kills someone in a violent, uncontrollable rage.....

I am talking about murderers who plan out their crime, thinking about how to do someone in for weeks or months before they actually do it.....

What causes someone to meticulously premeditate taking the life of another human being??

And I do not mean the old "the devil made him/her do it" excuse either.....

In the case of a well-planned-out, premeditated murder, people kill people because people want to kill people...plain and simple.....
