  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I well understand the difference between old covenant laws and the spiritual comparison Christ and His Apostles gave under The New Covenant. So you might consider that while pushing your Judaic Torah lessons.
So, will you be elaborating on 1 John 3:14, 15, since that is the topic, or obsess
over Judaic Torah lessons. I made no such attempt, that is just your agenda, in
this case misapplied. Now, you are at the point of harassment.
I am using Torah to understand what is being spiritually fulfilled in our hearts.
John is addressing fellow believers, not the haters of this world.
He is not addressing how to apply Torah to other societies.
Can a believer hold hatred in his heart? How serious is the matter?
By John's teaching, that you seem to have serious issues with, states clearly
that hatred is judged as murder.
He does not say, nor did I ever say, that hatred is committing murder.
He is laying out a better understanding of justice based on the Lord's righteousness.

I mean, you even tried to say that Apostle John confirmed... your Judaism old covenant understanding of murder, when he was speaking in the spiritual sense!
I made no such effort, your accusations betray the only confusion.

Hey, I'm not the one who said the following, you did...

"Murder 1-malice aforethought, proven by evidence without doubt.
Torah-"having hated beforehand". Who can always make this proven? Only God.

If by 1 John 3:15 the Lord says that holding hatred in your heart makes you a murderer,
it doesn't mean you murdered him, but that is His judgment against your hatred."

Plain as day, you believe anyone that hates should be held guilty, literally, of murder. Your words, not mine. So accuse yourself, not me.
