I used to be upset by the fact that at least one of my former friends isn't speaking to me anymore, but the way I see it now, if some people are going to hate me over one thing I said, do I really need them in my life?

I still haven't come up with any more ideas for my story, unfortunately, but I have been working on other creative projects: I made a traditional drawing, some more plushies, and I'm currently making a new animation and needlepoint.

I want to make a plush dachshund, but the fur fabric I wanted to use is so thick, my sewing machine won't sew it. I can't decide whether to sew it by hand, use a different fabric, make two of them with different fabrics, or make a sheep first.

One of the saddest things is when people leave God and His truths as soon as something bad happens in their life. That's when we need Him most! My mom says that people who do that probably didn't have very strong faith to begin with...we should pray for them.

Honestly, I feel as though this is me right now. I've gone through some terrible things, so it can be difficult for me to have faith that God is watching over me and guiding me. I've known other people like that, too, of course. I agree, these people really need our prayers if they're going to make it through the hard times.

Yeah, you're probably right about that. I think I need to pray to God and study the Bible more to discern what it is that God is trying to tell me.

Three weeks after I took the Easter decorations down, I suddenly noticed there was still one hanging on my wall. It was there for three extra weeks and I didn't even notice!

I wonder if I could get my sewing machine to sew that thick fur fabric if I trimmed the fur around the edges? It seems like I read about that somewhere.

Right now I'm making a plush sheep, which is coming together pretty quickly. I just have to attach the top of the head and the belly. I made another sheep a while back but I didn't like how its face turned out, so I'm trying to make this one better.

Oh boy, now I have to animate a battle scene for the first time. This might not be easy.

May is Food Allergy Awareness Month. I wish there was more awareness for food allergies. It's always been frustrating for me to have them. I've been left out so many times in my life because I couldn't eat the food or didn't know if it was safe. There are so many foods I can't eat only because the people who make them don't care if they "may contain" something I'm allergic to. Even some of my extended family members have been unconcerned about whether the food they had was safe for me or not. Then I'm always hearing about how healthy things I can't eat are, which makes me worry about my own health.

I think people are getting more aware of others with food allergies and particular diets, though. I cook and bake quite often, and I come across recipes more and more that are gluten-free, nut-free, vegan, etc.

I can imagine it wouldn't be fun to be allergic to cherries and oranges. It's always scary to see someone you care about have an allergic reaction. I'm glad your sister was okay in the end. My parents and brother don't have any food allergies, so it can be hard to see them enjoying foods I can't have.

Wow, that's great that you've been seeing more allergy-friendly recipes! I must be looking in the wrong places, because most of what I see suggests that people care only about gluten and not at all about other allergies like mine (tree nuts)...I'll have to look for nut-free recipes sometime!

My next animation should be done soon! Looks like it's going to be a longer one.

I'll probably have to sew my next plushie by hand because two layers of this fabric won't fit under my sewing machine's presser foot.

I'm sorry to hear that. :/ I hope she does something to her problems. I can kind of relate, though--I can let problems slide sometimes, too. Mostly because I get busy and it can be difficult to find answers...

I'm making the dachshund I mentioned in an earlier post. The fur fabric I'm using is brown, soft, and appears to have a little bit of shine to it. I just started sewing it today.

Wow, the backgrounds in this animation took longer to make than I expected. I guess they are more complex than the ones in the last few animations I made. All I have to do now is put everything together, so I expect it to be ready tomorrow!

Now that I've finished my animation, I can take care of some other things I need to do.

I might want my next animation to be based on chapter 14: Tropical Trouble, which would be perfect for summer. The only problem is I can't decide which parts to animate. I was wanting to do the beginning, but skipping the ending would make the animation end oddly. The entire chapter might take a long time...hmm...
