My brother and I have over 200 Chao and counting! It's obviously hard to think of names we haven't already used when we get new ones, haha. Did you know we have two named Dreamy and Candy?

Wow, Christmas is less than a week away! We have all our Christmas shopping done, but most of the gifts haven't arrived yet. We still need to bake two batches of cookies and make chocolate-covered pretzels. Then we'll make a birthday cake for Jesus! This year it'll be a white cake with either buttercream or peppermint vanilla frosting (we haven't decided yet!); one will be tinted red and the other green.

I really need to find ways to keep myself busy so I won't see any more disgusting comments. I should make some more models but, it's so hard to decide what I want to make first! I thought about making some more Chao or Charaboms, but there are so many of them!

I tried to make a Hero Chaos Chao model so I could make an improved version of this plushie I made about eight years ago, but I didn't like how it turned out...


I think I totally forgot to mention this, but sometime last month marked my 10th anniversary of being a seamstress! Then it was December when I made my first plushies on my own. My sewing has improved greatly since then!

Dreamy and Candy are both normal-colored Hero Chao. I can't remember for sure, but I think Dreamy is a Hero Swim Chao (white with green, turquoise, and yellow markings); I'll know for sure once I start playing the game it's in again after New Year's. Candy is a Hero Chaos Chao (white with pink markings). Dreamy wears a pink eggshell on its head and Candy wears a topaz one (which is shiny and a light orange-brown color).

I gave these Chao their names because I thought Dreamy's white and pink color scheme looked sort of dreamy, and because the color of Candy's eggshell reminded me of caramel!

My brother finally got Kirby: Planet Robobot, which was the only main game in the Kirby series we hadn't played! I can't wait to try it out, but I'm currently busy playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle...after New Year's I'll switch to Sonic Adventure DX, where I'll end up spending a lot of time doing something boring that involves a lot of waiting. Maybe I can play it then!

It's kind of weird when you play games out of order. I already know some of what happens in Kirby: Planet Robobot even though I haven't played it yet, because I had to do some research when I was writing Kirby and the Rod of Darkness. It was kind of weird writing about games I hadn't played, too. So when my brother encountered Susie for the first time and she said "Allow me to introduce myself" I was like "Don't we know you already?"

I finished my Hero Chaos Chao model and made a plush pattern out of it! I was considering making it a free pattern for others to use, but I don't know if that will be possible. I have to make some edits to the printed pattern before cutting out the pieces. This plushie might be kind of difficult to make, but I can do it!


Now I'm modeling Charaboms out of cubes so they look like they came from Pokemon Quest!

I've decided what I'm going to do: I'm not going to take breaks from CF, I'm just going to spend less time on here daily. I'm pretty much doing that already, actually. After all, I enjoy posting in this thread and others!

Wow, it's the last day of 2024 already?! Where does the time go? Every year it's like, one minute it's September and fall is almost here, and the next minute it's New Year's!

What kinds of things happened in 2024? I finished Kirby and the Rod of Darkness (I finished the first half and wrote the entire second half), I learned how to make 3D models, I finished drawing every Charabom (not counting the different levels), and I made some amazing new friends! Due to the amount of time I spent on writing this year, I only made a few traditional drawings and one plushie. But another plushie is in the works now!

I like the fireworks! But now Kirby and friends can't see a thing!
