There are shows all over like that. People wonder why we live in a world filled with sexually related issues when it just is a game to many. Some people will sleep with several different people and go to church on sunday and call them selves a Christian and then go back to their habits come monday. It saddens me that there is not a bigger out cry against this. There is a small cry but it's muffled out to fast. Sex and sin sells so you'll continue to see it. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. That's why I pay $9 a month for the Sky Angel dish network. Why spend $50 to watch sin be held up as an idol?

I want to make a Real World show with a bunch of Christians from different denominations and see how that goes. hehe...I think it'd be a lot of fun. :) Don't think MTV would quite go for it though. ;)

Seriously, even if the people on the show are devoutly religious, they never show it unless it's got some sort of controversy behind it. I mean, I wouldn't get on the show as a "good Methodist girl" with lots of great friends both on and offline and a great family that loves and respects me. If I did, I'd create controversy by spending all my time on the 1 computer they provide the house with and hanging out in here as much as possible. ;)

This is the sad reality of the situation........................................

MTV has peole they hire to spend time with our teens to figure out what they like, who they are, what they do. They pick at their brains for 24 hours for one reason. To sell them things. It is sad that MTV knows more out our teens then we do. Sex sells, sex has always sold. It is no surprize that this is the way it is. But it still remains to be a horrible reality. Entertainment has degrated through time, and it will only get worse. This is the world we live in. This is what we fight against.

I've always wondered why the producers think their show reflects "the real world." The folks on the show don't live in the real world, they live in a bizarre world. Nobody really lives that way or behaves the way they do.
They reward the worst behavior and mock decent behavior. I think it's creepy that they would actually try to tell us that they're showing the real world.

There is such a thing. It's called mission year. Any christian who is between 18 and 29 and has a year to spend serving can do it.

It is not televised, though. The focus of mission year is God. And service.

Here is info...

I challenge you to find 6 people you know who live that way.

It's no more the real world than Third Rock from the Sun was the real world.

i know several people that live this immorally. they're either my current, or past, friends. it's saddening, but reality. i actually love 'the real world'. but, that's just me. i don't even think that the people on the show are that exceptionally bad. i mean, have you hung out with the youth of today recently? i mean, out of those current and past friends i was talking about, most of them are far worse than the people they have on that show.

i love the real world, but i absolutely hate road rules. i was just never able to get into it. i hated the real world also, until the seattle season, and i got hooked after that. new orleans was my favorite. i might like road rules too, if i watched it quite a bit, but i've not been able to get into it thus far.
